PROJECT- ENHANCING ONLINE PRESENCE FOR PINE VALLEY FURNITURE

1. The scope of the project are-

• Increase in revenue
• Increase chances to reach the end user or audience as everyone nowadays are addicted to the social network
• Increase in demand and supply
• Increase in business network expansion
• Building brand recognition
• High reliance on social media helps target the entire potential buyers in market
• Easy to order and pay procedure will help generate more orders- customers like to sit back at home and order things online these days with a simple click payment option.

Everything is going to be electronic these days. Hence, it is very important to get digitally and socially involved in each stage of business to generate more revenue and recognition in the market. In current scenario major Sales happen through online networks.

2. Five or more functional requirements for engaging our business digitally or socially are-

• Get e-commerce verified in various portals like Amazon, Flipkart, Urban Ladder, Pepper Fry, etc.
• Enable pay- per- click system, where a user can place order online by paying online using net banking, debit cards, or credit cards.
• Promote your product digitally through e-banners in social networking sites.
• Associate yourself in e-newspapers as many people go for reading news via mobile applications in this busy world. This will be an effective method of promotion and brand recognition.
• Provide information to existing customers via emails or messages for launch of new product or availability of any sold out product or any holiday greetings or even their order related emails.
• Creation of website for our business operation and adding such website link to all social networking sites and manually everywhere possible so that we get more and more recognition.

3. The non-functional requirements are-

• Documentation- to get involved in trading digitally via online websites, a lot of documenting needs to be done in a proper manner. The owner needs to submit all his documents within a prescribed period of time.
• Quality- Maintaining the quality of product is very important. Each and every site have review option by the customers, and once a negative review is shared by any client it will affect in the future dealings.
• Maintaining privacy of the client’s data received. Each client while ordering shares his address, phone number and other related details, we need to ensure that such details are privately secured with us and not shared with anyone.
• The time to accept and order and ship the product should be appropriate- Once ordered online everyone wants a speedy delivery, say within 7 days. We need to ensure that we respond the client on each status of their order on time, i.e- email for each stage- like order received, packaging done, order shipped, order delivered.
• Return & refund- we need to enable return and refund policy with a specified norms because this will enable any person to trust us and the frequency of order received will also increase as the client will always treat return and refund policy as their added advantage.
• The process which will be used from the point order is receive to the point it is delivered to the client and even after delivery till the client rates our product and doesn’t claims for return or refund. In case return the process should be defined clearly.
