Question

ves - Design and build simple operational amplifier circuits. Work in groups of two for this la Pre-lah- complete prior to coming to lab. Data Sheet Take a look through the data sheet (located on the website) for the LM741 opamp to see the types of performance characteristics that are specified. Many of the specifications will likely not make a lot of sense to you at this point. Many of these terms deal with the imperfections associated with real (as opposed to ideal) opamps. For now, there are a couple of specifications that are meaningful: large- signal voltoge gain and output voltage swing. Specifications are provided for a few different flavors of LM741: LM741A, LM741, and LM741C. Assume that we will be using the generic LM741 version of the part in the lab. Research the data sheet to ahswer #1 and #2 of the prelab specifically page 5 of the specs document. Large-siznal voltage gain: This is what we have been calling the open-loop voltage gain. It is the gain of the opamp. This is the number we assume to be infinite when making the ideal opamp assumption, so you would expect the specified number to be fairly large. Assuming we are using the opamp at an ambient temperature of 25°C, with load of at least 2K0, what is the typical large-signal voltage gain of an LM741 opamp? 15V supplies, and a 1) (Ari)typ Output voltage swing: This specification describes the voltage range that the opamp can output without saturating. In lecture we have said that the opamp output is limited to a range somewhat smaller than tVsupply This specification tells us what that range is. 2) Assuming we are using t15V power supplies and are driving a load of greater than 10KQ, what are the typical and worst-case output voltage ranges for the LM741? Hello,
Please find the answer attached below. If the answer has helped you please give a thumbs up rating. Thank you and have a nice day!

1) The typical value of the large signal voltage gain of the 741 opamp is 200V/mv.

2) The typical and the worst case (min) output voltage ranges for the 741 opamp is +/- 14V and +/- 12V respectively.

The appropriate sections of the data sheet is highlighted for the 741 opamp:
