There has been a significant increase in Amazon's debt-to-equity ratio. The measure of debt is to pay the loan amount in the case of the ownership of a company. The total liabilities are divided by equity of share-to-equity ratio shareholders. In December 2012, Amazon's Apple Inc. (NASDAQs QGS: AAPL) was 33% higher. It was 49% of the population. However, in the last three years, the ratio has increased to 389%.
