From molecular wegith: 115 g/gmol

calculate the grams of each :

C% = 62.6% = 115*0.626 = 72g

H% = 11.4% = 13.11 g

N% = 12.3% = 115*.123 = 14.2 g

Now change that to moles!

MWC = 12 g/gmol

MWH = 1 g/gmol

MWN = 14 g/gmol

moles of C = mass / MWC= 72/12 = 6 moles of C

moles of H = mass / MWH =13.11/1 = 13 moles of H

moles of N = mass /MWN = 14.2/14 = 1 mol of N

C6H13N

this one is probably an amine

CH3-CH2-CH-CH-CH2-CH2-NH2

There is a double bond... we need to use NRM image to find out WHERE it is

From the diagram, there is a C3 peak

CH3-CH2-CH-CH-CH2-CH2-NH2 is correct
