Do you think that America still has a long road to travel before racial, ethnic, and religious differences are accepted by our society in general? Why or why not? Be specific; provide examples.
Yes, with the rise in hate crimes and general fear among people of different religions like Islamaphobia or the abuses directed towards Afro-Americans, it is clear that there is a long way for America to accept its citizens regardless of their differences. This is primarily because of the way the media has interpreted and typecast the people through movies and shows. From showing Muslims as terrorists to shunning of Afro-American issues based movies in major awards, the white supremacy is still very evident in the society.

They are the future of the country and if they can be taught to empathize with people who are of a different race, religion or ethnicity, it goes a long way in developing a future generation that is emphatic and inclusive.
