Onlookers feel introversion is related to being anti-social, but that's really not the case. It's just a matter of preference for them to be less communicative or social than the usual extrovert. Shyness is associated with being an introvert at times, as many introverts fear social judgments so they are basically shy. Of course, there are exceptions to this rule.

Extroverts, on the other hand, love social stimulation and they literally crave it to feel alive. Extroverts are outgoing, they are center stage at parties, and gatherings, they are socially confident and communicate more easily than introverts. Extroverts are more preferred in today's day and age as a confident, charismatic personality can bag a job much faster than one who responds shyly or does not communicate at the interview with the same level of self-assurance. Society wants action, not just simple contemplation. people who speak well, and are at the forefront are always appreciated. We are living in a highly competitive, and progressive world where personality and confidence can do wonders. So, yes, it is true that people are biased against introverts and prefer extroverts more. For an introvert to behave like an extrovert, it is difficult to refrain from being what they actually are and also what they prefer to be. But many introverts have converted themselves over the years to fit into the mold defined by modern society. Again, there are many introverts who remain the same and still succeed in their sphere of work, without bringing in monumental changes to their personality.
