Answer #1

Question 13

For the reaction 2NO(g) + Br2(g ) == 2NOBr(g)

Equilibrium constant , Kp = [PNOBr(g) ]2 / [PNO(g)]2[PBr2(g )] = 0.013

So for the reverse reaction 2NOBr(g) ==  2NO(g) + Br2(g ) Equilibrium constant , Kp = [PNO(g)]2[PBr2(g )] / [PNOBr(g) ]2 , the equilibrium constant for the forward rectrion is inverse of the equilibrium constant fro the backwsrd reaction.

Therefore, Kp' = 1/ Kp   = 1 / 0.013       Kp' = 76.92 ~ 77(approx)
