Sol:maas of iron piece=4.25kg

=4.25x1000g (1kg=1000g)

=4250g

Density of iron =7.86g/cm3

=7.86g/mL(1cm3=1mL)

=7.86×100g/dL(1dL=100mL)

=786g/dL

Density = mass/volume

Volume =mass/density

=4250g/786g/dL=5.41dL

Hence the correct answer is 5.41dL.
