According to law of conservation of mass,, total mass of the reactants would be equal to total mass of product.
but this would be possible only in the case reaction has been carried out in a closed container, because due to gaseous nature of Carbon Dioxide it will get escape as soon as reaction will complet. So it depends whether the container is open or not.
