1) If I wasn't using email I would prefer to have face to face
conversation. But, when choosing an ICT application it would be
"Slack". It is a well known conventional tool for meeting my
purposes. It is helpful as it lies as a platform for communicating
with clients and to conduct group meetings.
2) I can improve self-awareness and relationship management through
ICT by building long term relationships with others and also by
considering ICT as a strong platform for communication which helps
in building self-awareness. Relationships are just looked at by a
transactional viewpoint. But by the effective use of ICT, it could
be used to build trust and robust relationships.
3) Through interpersonal communication from ICTs, I gained more
trust from the other end. Our messages are more open while using
the means of ICTs which build a robust trust factor from the other
end. Also breaking the barriers of space and time is a mentionable
gain.
We may tend to lose privacy in interpersonal communication if the
other end misuses it and also may lead to weakening in social
ties.

This is an Individual Assignment. Sociotechnical systems theory helps us to see that both technology and people must be considered in relationships and at work. Organizations need to recognize that if strong, healthy work relationships are to be built and maintained, development of emotional intelligence competencies in their people is critical. This is especially important considering the argument that the rise of technology leads to the decline of face-to-face interpersonal experiences and skills. 1. Make a list of the five...
