The firms or companies that achieve both alignment and adaptability are designated to be ambidextrous because adaptability and alignment are both opposing forces and handling both will always lead to conflicts to some extent. It is important to mention that companies are negatively impacted when they put a priority on either of the two. It has been seen that when a firm is focuses excessively on adaptability, the options for profitability reduces. Also, when excessive emphasis is placed on alignment, the company is most likely to miss the upcoming opportunities.
