The correct option is (d) G1 phase.

This is the first phase of the cell cycle that takes place in the cell division. In this phase, cell synthesizes proteins and mRNA and prepare itself for the following phases. After this phase, synthesis phase or S-phase takes place in which replication of DNA takes place and it makes the amount of DNA double, equal to the parent cell or other cells. So, in G1 phase, the amount of DNA is half in comparison to the other cells.

Others options are incorrect because all the other phases take place after the synthesis phase or S-phase where the replication of DNA takes place.
