1. Media has a significant role in affecting the gender expectation of masculinity and femininity because they are able to create an Association between different genders and respective roles which lead to development of gender roles and gender stereotypes which are social constructs that lead to different types of perception by individuals on the basis of gender.

2. Images of toxic masculinity and femininity would contribute to higher rates of social anxiety among young adults as they try to accomplish particular perception of a respective gender in order to maintain acceptance from society in the manner of ethical and moral values. Individuals often try to mould themselves according to the expectations from the society as well as the social constructs present as a norm within the society.
