Answer #1

1.

  • Explicit attitudes can be defined as attitudes which are present and the conscious level. These attitudes are deliberately constructed by the individual. They can be self reported .
  • Implicit attitudes are those attitudes which are formed at the unconscious level. They are formed through an involuntary process. They are typical in nature .These are in simple words positive or negative evaluation .

They impact each other in different ways . Let us understand this through an example . Suppose a person is everyday exposed to negative biases and ideas towards older and aging people . But the person disagrees with all these ideas and negative aspects .He or she maintains a positive external attitude towards aged individuals .This is how they interact with each other. Implicit attitudes help us to shape or explicit attitude and behaviors

A cell's genome is its blueprint for life. However, what is the bare minimum number of genes needed to sustain a free-living cell? This is a question that microbiologists at the J. Craig Venter Institute (JCVI) have attempted to answer ever since they sequenced the genomes of several Mycoplasma species in the 1990s. Because Mycoplasma species are parasitic bacteria, their genomes are already reduced in size and hence provide an excellent foundation for creating a "minimal cell." However, little did...
