They represent good manegerial skills by managing the household budget, maintaining balance in relationship, developing intra-and inter-generational bonds among the members of family, maintaining relations with neighbours / relatives / other individials, carryng forward the customs, traditions etc. of the family, organizing and managing social-ciltural events / festivals etc.

The main characters emerging from their traditional roles are, team-spirit, planning budget, creating amiable relationships, taking responsibilities, delivering dities, managing division of task etc.

In the reform movements, their above-mentioned characters were used. For instance, in the reform movements they played the role of the peer-educators, motivators, developing action plans including women force, providing training to other women, arranging events / meetings, etc. For instance, in the civil reform movements they organized the team of the female volunteers. These volunteers were involved in various activities. In the religious reform movements, they played the role of peer educators.
