Clostridial myonecrosis most often starts with invasion by a bacteria known as Clostridium perfringens.

Explanation:

It is mainly found in soil. So, if someone with trauma comes in contact with soil contaminated with C.perfringens then person will get disease. Though this pathogen is anaerobic in nature do it require that environment to grow. A region around trauma where blood supply is limited are main spots for bacterial invasion and growth. In this disease most affected parts are muscles, bacteria produce toxins which leds to necrotic damages to muscles.
