There are many technologies invented in our day to day lives. Picking 3 of such technologies-

1. Augmented Reality

Theory:

It’s an experience created by the computer graphics which includes real-world environment. It has virtual reality in it. It combines 3 features – real-time interaction, real and virtual worlds mix, representation in 3D. It follows the principle of superimposition. It doesn’t completely provide a virtual world, it interacts with the existing world in real-time. It’s the modification of real world.

Working:

A picture is captured, the AR to be added is marked and then imposed.

2. AI Speech Recognition

Theory:

AI mimics human behavior and performs tasks in a better way to decrease the workload. Speech Recognition in AI is where the words spoken by a person is converted into a text. Amazon Echo and Alexa such technologies work based on this principle included in them.

Working:

The person speaks, it works by breaking the audio into smaller parts and running algorithms on each part to match with the words that are already present. The best match would then give the typed word. It uses softwares to work such as NLP.

3. Internet of Things

Principle:

Has all the devices connected with web-enabled, which lets communication happen between the devices. They’re used to monitor the house to keep it safe.

Working:

Sensors are in-built in each device which will be able to communicate. Data is stored and managed at a different place. Whenever there’s a command or task to be done these are worked upon.
