4. It's been a week since you last saw your sociology textbook. The last place you remember having it was in class the day you learned that got a perfect score on your English paper. How could you use what is known about context-dependent memory and state-dependent memory to help you find it?

While context dependent memory refers to the place or event in which one formed that memory, state dependent memory refers to the emotional state one achieved while forming that memory. Thus, in this example while the classroom refers to the context in which one could retrieve that memory easily, the happiness of receiving good score in English test refers to the state dependent memory.
