Answer #1

Answer- A) Glycolysis :-

1- substrate = Glucose

2- Final product = 2 molecules of Pyruvate, 2 ATP & 2 NADH.

3- Energy yield = 2 molecules of ATP & 2 molecules of NADH.

4- occurs in cytosol

B) Pyruvate Oxidation:-

1- substrate = Pyruvate

2- final product = 2 CO2 , 2 NADH & 1 acetyl-CoA.

3- Energy yield = 2 molecules of NADH, 1 molecule of FADH2 & 1 molecule of ATP are produced.

4- occurs in mitochondrial matrix

C) Citric Acid cycle:-

1- substrate = pyruvate

2- Final products = 2 CO2, 2 ATP, and 6 NADH and 2 FADH2

3- Energy yield = 2 ATP, 6 NADH & 2 FADH2

4- occurs in mitochondria
