please the power factors given in the question are different which are 0.8 and 0.85 please explain to me which one would be used in the calculations and why is it used? please I want a typed copy of it.

It is just a printing mistake that you are asking to justify. The only way out is that you need to solve the question by thanking both the power factor value one at a time and just match the answer if the answer is right then that particular power factor is the one that should be given and the other one is the miss printined one or the vice versa . So basically what I want to say is that in such case u need to take the answer as a reference. Also what I feel is that the mistake might be in circuit diagram so you should first try to solve by taking the power factor 0.8 first and then try with 0.85. Hope you got satisfying answer for any query please do comment.
