Answer #1

Every cell and organelle had same genes in the same way intestinal and skin cells too,and also they express same genes, they can't show different genes .and also have same genetic code.but developmental differentiation is the main thing hence the correct answer is

The two cells lost different genes through developmental differentiation.

why beacuse functional and structural basis of skin cells is differ when compare to intestinal cells.

In humans, there are about 200 different types of cells. Why are your liver cells different from skin cells, or neurons, or muscle cells? During development, each cell accumulates different mutations changing their DNA They produce the same proteins but some of those proteins are denatured in each cell They have different DNA and thus, each cell produces different proteins They produce the same kind of proteins but not all proteins are active in each cell They have the same...

Cloning Human Embryonic Stem Cells Cloning is now possible by inserting a skin cell from a baby into an unfertilized human egg that has had its own DNA removed. This produces a blastocyte (an undifferentiated embry onic cell), which includes stem cells identical to the baby's. With this technique it is possible to make genetically identical embryonic stem cells from any cell in the human body. This would remove the need to harvest these cells from existing embryos. Theoretically these...

Bacterial cells, such as E. coli, are surrounded by a fluid plasma membrane and enclosed by a rigid cell wall that protects the cell from damage. You will recall that there is no nuclear envelope in prokaryotic cells, but rather a “nucleoid region” with a single chromosome that is continuous (circular), not linear, as in eukaryotes. All of the genes required for basic survival and reproduction are found in the main chromosome. In addition to the main chromosomes, some DNA...

    4. Development of organelles Aa Aa 3 Modern eukaryotic cells are very complex and have many features that allow them to function efficiently. These complexities took a very, very long time to evolve and likely progressed as a series of small improvements that were naturally selected. For example, modern eukaryotic cells have internal membranes surrounding their organelles and the nucleus. This arrangement likely arose when the cellular membranes of some ancient bacterial cells accidentally folded to become internal membranes. Which...

Different processes have an impact on the body's cholesterol levels. Cholesterol can be synthesized in cells or absorbed from the diet, but which process has the greatest impact on the loss of cholesterol? a. Cholesterol is converted into steroid hormones in particular the sex hormones testosterone and oestradiol, which are excreted through urine. O b. During fasting, cholesterol is oxidized to acetyl-CoA in tissues, including the brain that cannot oxidize fatty acids. c. Certain cell types such as enterocytes have...

    1. A closer look - Trace minerals and their deficiency symptoms Iron deficiency anemia is one of the most common nutrient deficiencies in the world, affecting nearly a third of the world population – over 2 billion people. This is a serious issue, but highly treatable and preventable. Fully understanding iron’s roles, sources, and health benefits can show just how important it is to address global iron deficiency anemia. Normal Blood Cells Compared to Iron Deficient Blood Cells Use your...
