Organizational socialization :

Organizational socialisation is defined as the learning and adjustment process that enables the individual or assume the organisation role that fits both organisational and individual needs.

  • It helps the organisation by encouraging the employees to take active part in the organisational activities and growth.
  • Employee bonding within them increases.
  • Company values increase.
  • Employee loyalty increases.
  • Company gives more importance to internal stakeholders employees

It is a unique procedure that happens when an individual accept another or changing job inside an organization.A portrayal of general socialization inside the field of brain research is introduced as a foundation for the investigation of organizational socialization.

Organizational socialization is very logical. Four hypotheses: vulnerability decrease hypothesis, the need to have a place, social trade hypothesis, and social personality hypothesis are introduced as hypothetical establishments for organizational socialization. Here, accentuation is given to organizational and singular strategies used to encourage socialization, just as to the particular substance of what is found out.

Changing organizational culture :

Organization culture is the capacity of the mentalities, convictions and conduct of the individuals inside the organization. Unlike strategy, organization culture is not the outcome of a decision, but of a long and lasting process of change. Forces both external and internal to the organization push it to change its culture to form a balance between the organization and its environment. The external forces that can push the organization towards a cultural change are its demographic characteristics, technological advancements, market changes, and social and political pressures. The internal forces that push the organization towards change from within are HR problems or prospects and managerial behaviour, decisions and strategies. Change can also be at varied levels within the organization, like at individual level group level, or at the complete organizational level.

The following can be the possible reasons for a change in the organizational culture:

  • when new management, boss, team leader, or manager brings some changes in the policies.
  • financial loss, the decline in market share, recession, and bankruptcy leads to change in the culture of a company
  • when a new client is acquired in the company, the culture will change
  • when the employees have developed and trained well and they face self-realization, the culture will change.

Organization culture works as whole company in it and when you change the whole company it can create situation at workplace for employees and employers also. There are internal or you can sub culture which truly might affected by the change in organizational culture, first of all operation culture will primarily get affected as it is he department that drives the business of company and they are doing day to day process of company which might get disturbed due to the changes in organization culture and people working in it might not welcome that change that much easily, secondly the engineering subculture also gets affected as it is the technical department and machine of the company that need to change in design of the company and it will create a hard challenge to focus and implement on that change.

Corporate culture is the standard values, and attitudes, which describe the nature of the members of the organisation. It will be rooted in the goals and strategies of the firm.

According to person X, there is a strong relationship between the corporate culture and the performance. Corporate culture will motivate the employees to work hard to attain the goals of the company. Corporate culture is used to create the business environment which motivates the employees to make the company succeed.Common culture for the entire organisation helps the employees to share the common goals. Everyone in the organisation will work on the common goal culture will motivate them towards the goals.

Corporate culture is the kind of excitement in the business environment which makes the employee to work fully and be efficient.
