Patient protection and Affordable care act was enacted on March 23, 2010 by Obama administration. It is also called Obamacare. The main 3 objectives are :

1. Despite all rich , It also covers middle income group with 133% with the federal poverty line.

2. The private insurance market and it may regulate high premium levels and premium cap.

3. It also gives coverage for pre existing conditions and can add a family member till 26 years of age.

Some of the provisions the court held unconstitutional was :

1. The government can impose a sanction or tax if they fail to provide medical aid to the poor and the disabled people.

2. It also said that congress used it extraordinarily used its constitutional powers to force the states and by threatening its payments and grants. The opinion of the states were not asked.

3. Many of the provisions of individual mandate which were not adherent to the court were decalred unconstitutional.

But finally with 5-4 ratio., the judgement was done in favour of obamacare. Many of the targeted groups were covered with obamacare and it also paved way for additional health resources with existing comprehensive insurance for health care patients and disabled patients.
