Answer:

Work-life balance refers to the degree of prioritization between personal and professional activities in an individual's life and the degree to which work-related tasks are present in the home. Maslow says people have needs that have to be fulfilled in order. Basic physiological requirements such as food, water, and shelter need to be made available before anything else can be considered. People need to feel safe after that, and then to be loved and belong to a group. Work-life balance is a topical concern because of the increased amount of technology that reduces the importance of physical position in the relationship of work and life.A central question in the discussion on work-life balance is where accountability falls to maintain a healthy work-life balance for the employees. The general feeling is that employers have a responsibility for their employees ' health; apart from the moral obligation, workers who are stressed out are less successful and more likely to make mistakes.

You probably imagine having an extremely productive day at work when you hear "work-life balance," and leaving early to spend the other half of the day with friends and family. While this will sound perfect, it's not always possible. Do not aim for the ideal schedule; aim for one which is practical. You may focus on work a few days, while other days you may have more time and energy to pursue your hobbies or spend time with your loved ones. Equilibrium is reached over time and not every day. A potential alternative is to find the possibility of job-sharing for both employers and employees. It is usually where a full-time remit is split amongst workers who wish to work part-time. Job sharing is a flexible arrangement where two or more people working part-time occupy one full-time job. It allows parents and caregivers to continue their careers while balancing home life and producing quality work — and is also a tool for leading more women.

There are also a number of additional benefits that can only be brought to a role by job-sharers. For example, having two sets of eyes to monitor work is a major benefit in finding errors and bringing multiple points of view to the job. Solid lines of authority and decision-making need to be identified in order to prevent any ambiguity on who takes the lead on particular tasks. The workload must be monitored regularly to ensure that there is no unbalance in the workload between the two parties. It provides for the work to be clearly assigned and divided among the employees. The workload must be checked consistently to ensure that there is no unbalance in the workload between the two parties. Although there are some obstacles for workers employed in job-sharing positions, the advantages to both companies and personnel mean that more companies will promote and fund candidates for more job sharing.

And he has nearly 800,000 passionate customers—or Zipsters, as they are called—who will back him up. Zipcar specializes in renting out cars by the hour...
