Organizational structure of Coca-Cola company shows that it is a flexible organizational structure, that is a mix of centralized and localized organizational structure component. The company has its presence in many companies in different parts of the world and it also needs a strategic direction. Then, the organizational structure helps Coca-Cola company to take strategic decisions at the corporate level that decides decisions such as new regions for expansion, new product variants to be launched or new takeovers of locally popular brands. It is done by the committee of executives at the top of the organizational structure. But, localized decisions are made at the SBU level that is specific to the country or region level. It involves operations, marketing and day to day decision making process. It gives decentralized or localized look of the organizational structure that becomes relatively flat in nature. It brings speediness to the decision making process.
