The company currently offers more than 400 brands in over 200 countries or territories across the globe. The headquarters is in Atlanta, Georgia. The current CEO of the company is James Quincey. The company has a centralized structure but recently they are, moving from centralized to a decentralized structure. Coca-cola is well aware of how important it is to meet the ever-changing demands of customers, That is the reason why in spite of so many years in the market its still surviving with high demand in the market. The company and its auxiliaries employ more than 31,000 people all over the world. The Coca-Cola company structure is a combination of both mechanistic and the organic model working together. The Coca-Cola company structure is unique and exclusive, this is indicated by the fact that it has a lot of characteristics of an organic structure.

The five SBU’s are North America, Africa, Asia, Europe, Eurasia, and the Middle East and finally Latin America. All these departments perform in the correct way, as a result, there is a success in of Coca Cola company. Their success can be seen by the quality of its product and its sales figures which are growing every single year.

Coca Cola Company has been a lot of ethical issues in the past decades. This has lead to the slowing down of its business activities and loss of profits due to the reduction in market facilities. These issues have affected the company drastically by creating a loss of reputation and poor economic performance. The Company has been accused that it causes Air pollution, children in Belgium became ill after drinking Coca Cola and The company lost its brand by selling contaminated cans to Africa. The company was even involved in racial discrimination, misrepresenting market tests, manipulating earning and disrupting long-term contractual arrangement with distributors, It was sued for misleading labeling process in 2006.

The Company should transform programs and change management initiatives so that they will be even better performance of the company. Additional measure should be taken by the organization to improve its performance in terms of quality. And campaigns should be launched by the company to increase the confidence of the public in the company.
