· Steps during Beta oxidation of Fatty acids.::

· Lipolysis of triglycerides in the adipocytes cells result is glycerol and fatty acids

· Traspnsport of fatty acid from blood into metabolic cells by transporters protein pump

· In cytosol it breaks into acyl Co-A by using ATPs.

· Acyl Co-A transport into mitochondria through carnitine acyl Co-A enzyme.

· Beta oxidation occurs in mitochondria using FADH2 and acyl Co-A is converted into Acetyl Co-A . Beta oxidation occurs by breaking 2 carbons in every cycle to form Acetyl Co-A. By this calculation means we have required 7 cycle of beta oxidation for producing 7 acetyl Co-A from 14 C fatty acid compound. we will get 92 ATPs.
