ANSWER:
In my opinion, Ogilvy's conclusion about advertising that it doesn't impact a general public's acknowledged traditions and perspectives, it only mirrors the qualities that as of now exist is valid. Various social orders have diverse social convictions, conventions, values, methods of living and so on and they use items and administrations which are in some way associated with those social convictions and qualities and promoting can't impact them to change with convictions and qualities yet it can rouse them to purchase items or administrations which their traditions and customs permit.
For instance, in a country like India where lion's share of the populace is Hindu, a few cheap food organizations, for example, McDonald's, Burger King, Domino's, Pizza Hut and so forth have attempted to promote their tremendous non-vegetarian lover assortment of inexpensive food which has not had the option to change the general public's convictions and social acts of eating vegetarian food and non-utilization of non-vegetarian food.
These organizations have attempted a great deal to impact the clients through their publicizing efforts to advance non-vegetarian food yet have neglected to prevail since the social convictions and practices of the Hindu populace don't permit them to expend non-vegetarian lover food.
