This status is termed to be RH incompatibility

This will not affect the baby greatly but it can affect the mother in next pregnancy , so administration of RhoD (immune globulin ) to be done within 72hours of delivering the baby.

If the mother is Rh negative usually in advance this immune globulin is administered in 28weeks as a preventative measures and repeated in less than 3dats of the birth of the baby.
