Answer #1

In this current era, internet pace is doubling every two simultaneous years.A noticable growth has been identified keeping the lost of network and power consumption under control.the number of internet users are also rapidly increasing.it increased from 569 million to 2.27 billions at present comprising almost 33% of the total world population.the fiber optic communication and personal computers, the mobile, and web browsers are identified for tracking the origin and the reason behind the explosive growth of internet.in recent 20 years, internet growth rate will be more than a factor of 1000.
feedback system has such mechanism which can change or modify a system to a new form or bring back to its original form.positive feedback leads to movement of a system from its equilibrium state and thus making it unstable.whereas negetive feedback dampen or buffer changes this in turn help to hold to a system in an equilibrium state which makes it more stable.situation of negative feedback can bring equilibrium.some includes thermoregulation, regulation of blood sugar levels, increase in thicknesses of cloud which reduces the solar radiation.

Do you think that predator/prey models will exhibit oscillatory behavior? This is a model that describes the interaction between predators and prey in any natural environment. Do you agree? Why or why not? The explosive growth of the internet can be attributed to several positive feedback loops. The nature of positive...

    4. In studying climate, scientists are often concerned about positive feedback loops: two or more pro- cesses that amplify each other, creating a system of amplification that leads to a vicious cycle. One example is the interaction of water vapor with global temperature. If global temperature increases, the capacity of the atmosphere to contain evaporated water vapor also increases. If water resources are available, this would result in an increased amount of water vapor in the atmosphere. Water vapor is...

Nonconstant growth stock As companies evolve, certain factors can drive sudden growth. This may lead to a period of nonconstant, or variable, growth. This would cause the expected growth rate to increase or decrease, thereby affecting the valuation model. For companies in such situations, you would refer to the variable, or nonconstant, growth model for the valuation of the company’s stock. Consider the case of Portman Industries: Portman Industries just paid a dividend of $3.12 per share. The company expects...

Use the solution you found in Part 1f to show that the Gompertz model can be rewritten as dP/dt=−λe^(−rt)P, where λ is a positive constant. j) Consider grouping the factors in the equation like this: dP/dt=-(λe^(-rt))P. Make an interpretation of this equation. In other words, what assumption about tumour growth would lead us to write down such an equation? k) Now consider grouping the factors in the equation like this: dP/dt=−λ(e^(-rt)P). Again, explain what assumption about tumour growth would lead...
