Answer -- Proglottids
Parasites are those microorganisms that are found or depend on the other organism's lives on them for survival.
Cestoda is one of the most famous classes of the parasites, they include the tapeworm that is found in humans as hosts.
The parasites have the body and tail and a segment that contains reproductive structures and these are called Proglottids.
These are sometimes the small structure of about 2cm which are hard and yellowish and they carry the eggs of the parasites and used to release when these proglottids are dried off.
So the segment that has the reproductive structure is proglottids.

The address space of a process contains a stack segment, a heap segment, a .bss segment, a .data segment and a .txt segment. Where are the following stored? a) Dynamic data allocated by malloc() b) An initialized external static variable c) An integer variable declared as static but not initialized within a function
Provide a code segment that contains a loop-carried dependency. Explain the term using your segment as an example. Why are reads and writes to a memory location that exist within the same instruction of loop code (e.g., index[i] = index[i] + 5;) not considered a dependency?
Declare an array of 40 student_t structures, and write a code segment that displays on separate lines the names (last name, first name) of all the students in the list. IN C
what is the type of metabolism in the plasmodium parasite that causes malaria? what is the type of metabolism in the plasmodium parasite that causes malaria?
A) Rewrite the following pseudocode segment in C++ using the loop structures (for and while). Assume that all the variables are declared and initialized. k-G+ 13)/27 loop: if k> 10 then goto out k=k+1 i=3"k-1 goto loop I out: B) Rewrite the following code segment in C++ using the multiple-selection (switch and if-else) statements. Assume that all the variables are declared and initialized. if((k 1) || (k 2))j-2 k-1 if ((k 3) || ( ks))j - 3.k+1 if (k 4)j-4k-1...
Problem 2. Write a program that contains two segments: A data segment called SEG DATA that contains two variables NUM1 and NUM2 where the size of each is one byte. A code segment SEG CODE that will compute the sum of even and odd values of a memory block of size 10 bytes that is saved at DS:0200H. The sum of even values should be saved in NUM1 and the sum of odd values in NUM2.
A resting mast cell becomes activated due to response to a parasite. Which of the following scenarios is likely to occur? a. The mast cell uses FceR1 to bind IgE that is parasite-specific and when the antibody is cross-linked histamine is released b. The mast cell undergoes VDJ recombination and produces IgE antibody specific to the parasite c. The mast cell binds directly to the parasite with its T-cell receptor and releases perforin d. The mast cell makes IgE that...
At a recent screening of movies in Edmonton, an attendee was asked if they assumed Parasite was voted as the best film of 2019. They said yes. What would define a corresponding Type I error? cross out cross out Select one: O a. The attendee then carried out a test of their assumption and found Parasite to be voted best film of the year, and it actually is the worst film of the year. b. The attendee then carried out...
