Answer #1

5. The image shows gram negative bacteria because gram negative bacteria can exhibit pink color in gram staining. The bacterials arrangements are chain like with rod shaped and it is known as streptobacillus. Streptococcus also shows chain like arrangements but they are round shaped and gram positive. So here B option is correct (gram negative bacteria with special arrangements).

10. Gram staining method is a special method to identify organisms. Acid alcohol is used as a Decolorised agent in this method. Acid alcohol can resolved peptidoglycan layer in bacterial membrane. So here Acid alcohol is correct answer.

12. Eosin methylene blue agar contains lactose and methylene blue for identifying gram negative lactose Fermentative bacteria. E. Coli can ferment lactose and it is a common gram negative bacteria. But S. aureus is abacterium which can not ferment lactose and it is a gram positive bacteria. So, EMB agar is not suitable for isolation of S. aureus. So here option B is correct answer.

15. This image shows Staphylococcus bacteria and option B is correct answer. Staphylococcus is a structure like grape. Coccobacilli is rod and round shaped bacteria where streptobacillus is shows round and chain arrangements.

9. S. aureus and S. pyogenes both are gram positive organisms and not lactose fermentor. Intestines habitats organism is E coli which gram negative and lactose ffermentor and also drinking water contaminant. So here answer is option D non of the above.
