In central dogma, the infromation normally travels from DNA to RNA to protein. In viruses these central dogm is altered as some viruses have RNA genome. So this information from RNA is first converted into cDNA then to the RNA and then to the roetin. SO this information starts from RNA to RNA and to the protein.
