Chosen Leader – Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google

· He is the best example of rags to riches. He comes from a very humble background and knows the importance of ethics and morality

· His firm stance on work ethics has made him the CEO of one of the biggest brand of the world, Google

· He is a humble and a genuine leader, who does not take a backfoot in company’s mistakes. He acts like a savior of the company and its employees and proves to be a true leader

· He is still attached to his roots. This is one of the greatest traits of a leader. He is grounded and often keeps ears to the ground. He keeps a tab on the ground reality of the company

· He is a visionary and is coming up with interventions to facilitate the competitive advantage of Google

· He believes in his employees. He understands the importance of the human asset of the company. He empowers them so that they can think out of the box and come up with value adding interventions for the company

· Sundar Pichai is a learning leader. He understands that change is constant and hence constant learning will help the company in gaining leverage. He has facilitated a culture of continuous learning and development in the company and this will help in strengthening the competitive advantage of Google
