21. The selective media is rthe media which allows the growth of particular microorganisms and inhibits the growth of other microorganisms. The differential media takes the advantage of the biochemical activity of the bacteria and leads to a visible change when particular bacterial strain is present. Nutrient broth is neither selective nor differential. It allows th gowth of any mircroorgansim.
