CTE means Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy. It is a disorder of brain. This is generally caused to people who have history of repititive brain trauma. CTE patient exhibit symptoms like memory loss, difficulty in thinking, depression, difficulty in making decisions, difficulty in doing daily tasks etc.
Due to CTE, midbrain, amygdala, diencephalon and brainstem get affected. Other affected area include mammillary bodies, hippocampus. These parts plays important role in making movements. CTE also affects frontal lobe which functions in making decisions and in retrieving memories.
