Traveller's diarrhea is a situation when some one travels a long distance and they feel that they are sick.

There are a few reason which may cause travelers diarrhea (excluding pathogenic activity) , are as follows

1. Due to change of life style. Our body needs time to cope with changing weather condition. You may get diarrhea in cold as well as in hot weather.

2. Due to sun light. It may be possible a person travelling during day time , absorbs excess sunlight that can cause vomiting and loose motion.

3. Due to water. Water is different in different places. Some time water may cause constipation to some one some time it causes diarrhea.

4. Traveller's does not get the foods which they used to eat in home. It may causes indigestion and lead to diarrhea.

The above four reason may responsible for travellers diarrhea. The symptom includes are--

A. Mucus present in stool

B. Abdominal pain

C. Fever

D. Sometime urges to vomit or nausea

But in the case of food poisoning is completely different than that of travellers diarrhea. It requires pathogenic toxins to develop. When food or water contained the toxin of the staphlococcous and some one eat it , it lead to diarrhea and called food poising. But in travellers diarrhea, pathogenic toxin may not be present.

Our body has a tendency to eliminate foreign matters. Hence the toxin is foreign , body starts to remove it. The symptoms will be

A. Abdominal pain after eating a contaminated food .

B. High fever with chills

C. Watery stools become frequent

D. Head aches due to dehydration

E. Cramp in abdomen.

F. Vomiting with no food stuffs only water.

But it is better to take advice if someone has developed any kind of diarrhea.
