Answer #1

Ans 1. The ID50 stands for infections dose,50%. It measures the virulence of organisms. This is the number of microbial population necessary to infect a host in 50% of a sample. In this given case Neisseria gonorrhea infections dose is 1000 cells required to infect an individual but in bacillus anthracis the infections dose is 50 cells which means bacillus anthracis can infect people even at low number of cells than Neisseria gonorrhea. Hence Bacillus anthracis is more virulent/dangerous.
