Answer - Ulcerative colitis affect to inner most layer of colon and crohn disease affects all layers of colon.

Crohn disease involves all GI parts including oesophagus to anal areas, ulcerative colitis involves only rectum and large bowel area.

Blood and mucous are seen most commonly in ulcerative colitis and not seen as commonly in crohn disease.

Nausea or vomiting generally not seen in ulcerative colitis but seen in crohn disease.
