Answer #1

Answer :)

Physical parameters (heart rate, respiratory rate, etc.) during the exercise change among individuals. A cardio machine measures heart rate while blood pressure is measured by automated sphygmomanometry. A spirometer is used to measure ventilation.

The independent variables will be exercise duration, age, gender, height, weight, and medical reports of individuals. Dependent variables are heart rate and other physical parameters.

We predict here that as the exercise starts, heart rate, breathing rate, and ventilation increased and as the exercise duration extends, the physical parameters reach the maximum limit. There would be common statistics for nearer aged groups (+/- 5 10 years difference) of normal adults.

The values of parameters are needed to be measure individually.

pH Effects on Enzyme Activity Another environmental factor regulates enzyme activity is pH (the level of acidity or alkalinity of a solution). As you may recall, the pH scale extends from 0 (very acidic) to 7 (neutral) to 14 (very alkaline or basic). We can use chemicals called buffers to help maintain a specific pH in solution. The pH scale and buffers are described in your online text (section 2.2, https://openstax.org/books/concepts- biology/pages/2-2-water). The spot plate diagram below shows a series...
