Answer #1

Ans1) The patient 's red blood cells will swell and burst because the fluid is hypotonic as compared to cell.

Explaination:100% pure water administerd into patient's vein is hypotonic as compare to body's cell osmolarity. So water enters into red blood cell by endosmosis and results im swelling and bursting of RBCs .

Ans2)Glycolysis;Pyruvate oxidation (transition reaction); citric acid cycle; ETC

Explaination:

Correct order of sequences in cellular respiration :

1)Glycolysis:Oxidation of glucose into 2 pyruvate molecules.

2)pyruvate oxidation :-Pyruvate oxidised to acetyl coA which enters into citric acid cycle.

3)Citric acid cycle :8 step long aerobic process in which oxidation of acetyl coA occurs and release of two CO2 molecules alongwith synthesis of FADH2,NADH and substrate level GTP.

4)Electron transport chain:-last step of cellukar respiration where NADH and FADH2 synthesized during glycolysis and citric acid cycle are oxidised and transfer electron to final electron acceptor ie, O2 and reduced it to H2O.
