The probability of getting 2 numbers whose sum is 2 is 1/36

Explanation

There are 2 dice with 6 sides. Each dice have 6 probable outcomes.

When we roll 2 dice together there are 6x6=36 outcomes in total.

Looking at the table, we can know that, in order to have a sum pf 2, only possibility is that both dice should show 1(1+1=2)

There is only 1 outcome out of total 36 probable outcomes which includes a sum of 2.

**Probability of an event = Number of favourable outcomes/ Total number of probable outcomes

Probability of having sum 2= 1/36
