Question

10 In Data Table 2, record whether your calculated p-value was greater than (>) or less than (=) 0.05. Using the p-value of 0

0.18 Degrees of Freedom p-Value Range Conclusion

My degree of freedom is 0.18 but I don't know the p value nor the conclusion. I have the chi square distribution for the p value below but I'm very confused on what any of this means

p* DF .995 .950 .500 .050 .025 .010 .005 1 0.00 0.00 0.45 3.84 5.02 6.63 7.88 0.01 0.10 1.39 7.38 9.21 10.60 N 3 3 0.07 0.35

Answer #1

Degree of freedom can't be less than 1 . It should be always 1 or more than 1

Look at the table what u have provided in that minimum degrees of freedom is always 1 or more than 1

For example: In chi square test if you have 5 values than 5-1(N-1) = 4 is the degrees of freedom.

If more than two either coloums are rows are present then (r-1)(c-1) is the degrees of freedom.

So please check the degrees of freedom can't be less than 1
