  • It is important to teach patient about hand hygiene. Wash hands properly before using eye medication.
  • It is important to check the dropper of the eye drop.
  • Avoid touching the tip of the dropper.
  • First pull the lower lid and administer the prescribed drop.
  • In the case of multiple drop, it is important to wait at least for 10-15 minutes before applying the another medicine.
