One of the most important concepts that was introduced in the American society at the end of the 18th century was natural born citizen by William Rawle who was the then attorney general of the United States. It recognizes everyone who is born in the United States as tis citizens irrespective of the citizenship of their parents. Thus, everyone who is born in the United States or the citizens of the United States has the right to fight for the highest positions of the country. This would mean that one cannot suggest that only people of certain race, religion or social standing. Considering the fact that all are settlers and immigrants in America except the Native Americans, it would be a wise idea to accept the diversity and multiculturalism rather than sticking to the white supremacy or race supremacy concepts.
