What is a Quartile?
A Quartile divides a rank-ordered set into four equal parts.The values are called first(Q1), second(Q2) and third (Q3) quartile.
In that Q1 =P25
Q2 = P50
Q3 = P75
The formula of locator is given by :
L = (k/100) * n
Here n = 36 - Total number of observations
k = 75
Therefore
L = 0.75 * 36 =27
Thus P75 is the 27th value in sorted data i.e 64.
P75 = 64
