A bird going 28.8 km/hr is pursuing a bee. The bee is flying in the same direction as the bird at 10.8 km/hr. When the bird is but 3.00 meters behind the bee a wind begins which blows backwards so that the bird’s acceleration is 5.00 m/s/s and the bee’s acceleration is 2.00 m/s/s. They both continue to fly forward and bird misses the bee when it first catches up. They both continue to fly forward in the wind. How fast is the bird going the second time it catches up with the bee?
