1.

For ITC LTD, the big drawback is that much of its revenue comes from the world-wide tobacco industry. The taxation of business is growing, and this leads to prices rising / prices continually increasing and income declining. This business is now regarded more negatively, and in the near future this could affect ITC. Of this reason , it is important that ITC continues to expand its business sectors and participate in industries beyond the tobacco industry. It is a socially conscious organization and this is known globally.

It invests heavily in social responsibility and has numerous proposals for environmental and social protection. The business uses the three-fold method to measure its performance which includes, as well as financial , social and environmental determinants. He is a leader in CSR in contrast to other businesses in this field. This is illustrated by its environmental and social change programs in India and worldwide.
