the 5 types of non carbon alternative electric power systems can be :-
1. Solar energy : this type of energy is produced by the sun which is a natural source of energy. in this we plant solar panels which converts energy of the sun into electricity. they work by absorbing photons from the sunlight and then knocking electrons free from atoms generating electricity.
2. Wind energy : this type of energy is produced by the moving winds we place large winmills having fans which are connected to a turbine so when wind moves the fan the turbine produces the electricity.
3. Nuclear energy : this type of energy is produced in the nuclear reactors by the process of fission when a radioactive element is splitted it releases huge amount of energy then this energy is used as a form a heat which then rotates the turbine by steam and then producing electricity.
4. Hydro energy : this type of energy is produced by building dams across the rivers storing huge amount of water then making the water flow through turbine the electricity is produced.
5. Tidal energy : this type of energy uses the kinetic energy of the waves when the waves are affected by the pull of moon and sun which helps to refill the reserviour (unlike hydroelectric dam)
yes they are not always environmentally friendly
take hydro energy, we need a huge amount of space to store water and due to that a large amount of forest area is cleared also the aquatic life is affected by building dams
secondly take nuclear power plants they produces radioactive waste which is very harmjul for all the lifes on the earth also there is always a danger of leaking of radiation (take an example of chernobyl) which hugely affect the whole area around it

Question 3 [15 marks] In an electric power system, it is given that the effective impedance of the generator station is Rs = 2000, and the effective impedance of the substation is R1 = 300 2. The line is I = 250 km long, and the source rms voltage is Vs = 45 kV operating at frequency f = 60 Hz. You are tasked to design the transmission line connection from the main station to the substation...
My Courses Week 2 Assignment(s) Week 2 Assignment(s) Assignment 2 Power Markets have two subcategories: generation and grid ancillary services (page 113). Text box 2-2a (page 101) describes grid ancillary services and text box 2-2b (page 102) describes essential reliability services. Create a table which lists the grid ancillary services with services as the rows and resources (hydropower, solar, and wind) as columns. In the respective row/column box summarize if the resource can provide the service, with a bottom line...

I need help with my very last assignment of this term
PLEASE!!, and here are the instructions: After reading Chapter Two,
“Keys to Successful IT Governance,” from Roger Kroft and Guy
Scalzi’s book entitled, IT Governance in Hospitals and Health
Systems, please refer to the following assignment instructions

It’s 7 a.m. in San Antonio, Texas, and Rich Marcogliese, chief operating officer of Valero Energy, is holding his usual morning meeting with the plant managers of 16 major refineries throughout the United States and Canada. On the walls of the headquarters’ operations center are a series of monitors centered by a giant screen with a live display of the company’s Refining Dashboard. Whether the executives are in the room or connected remotely, all eyes are trained on the Web-accessible...

How can we assess whether a project is a success or a
failure?
This case presents two phases of a large business transformation project involving the implementation of an ERP system with the aim of creating an integrated company. The case illustrates some of the challenges associated with integration. It also presents the obstacles facing companies that undertake projects involving large information technology projects. Bombardier and Its Environment Joseph-Armand Bombardier was 15 years old when he built his first snowmobile...
Please read the article and answer about questions. You and the Law Business and law are inseparable. For B-Money, the two predictably merged when he was negotiat- ing a deal for his tracks. At other times, the merger is unpredictable, like when your business faces an unexpected auto accident, product recall, or government regulation change. In either type of situation, when business owners know the law, they can better protect themselves and sometimes even avoid the problems completely. This chapter...
We conducted a comprehensive literature search on drones in conservation up to October 2nd 2018, in line with related studies [10,11,35]. All searches were done by the same person in English, mainly using Google Scholar. This was further complemented through reference harvesting, citation tracking, abstracts in conference programs, and author search, using Research Gate and Mendeley (see PRISMA Flowchart in Supplementary Figure S1 Checklist and list of studies reviewed in Table S1). We then removed duplicate and unrelated results. Finally,...
