What should be in our DR plan? Who should have input into it?
A disaster recovery plan should have the following:
i) At first the plan should consider all the disaster that may occur in a place, considering the geographical location of the place.
ii) A data backup plan should always be ready. All the data that a company needs should be at first backed up so that the flow of the company is not interrupted.
iii) There should be a list which consists of all the inventory details of the hardwares and essentials of the organisation.
iv) An offsite location should be there on the list so that all the essentials can be transferred there.
The information manager should at first decide what should be the disaster management plan. The organisation can hire someone outside of the organisation to develop the plan or the organisation can build its own disaster recovery plan.
